TARPON SPRINGS, FL – Lemongrass Spa donated tens of thousands of meals to Feeding America as a way to give back during the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Giving back to community-based organizations is a big part of Lemongrass Spa and the need has never been greater than now for giving a helping hand during this time of need. In the beginning of COVID-19, Lemongrass Spa CEO, Heidi Leist searched for ways to give back to the community. She found that there are people in the local Tampa area and throughout the United States going without meals from unemployment or loss of school lunches. Heidi chose to partner with Feeding America which secures and distributes meals to engage in the fight against hunger. Each dollar raised will be used to get food and to fund local food banks.
In order to serve as many families as possible, Lemongrass Spa allotted 50 meals for every party submitted by consultants before the last day of April. Consultants across the nation promoted the cause and with 1,623 parties submitted, Lemongrass Spa donated 81,600 meals!

This Feeding America campaign is just one example of the many philanthropic efforts from Lemongrass Spa. Giving back is one of the core beliefs in the Lemongrass Spa community. Their giving back initiatives include hurricane relief efforts, support for cancer patients and aid to military families among others.
