I have been passionate about skincare since age 14 when as a teenager I struggled with problem skin and wanted to know why. I went to the library, got my first skincare and make up book and was enlightened. I have been learning about health and beauty ever since.

Since moving back to Florida in 2002 I have been a licensed Full Specialist and have had the privilege for 10 years of owning a “5 star” Day Spa in the Orlando FL. named “Best Of” in the Orlando Business Journal 3 years in a row, and noted as Best in Orlando in New Beauty Magazine.

I am proud to have earned my exclusive skincare training from Skincare Specialist to the Stars Steven Miller of Beverly Hills CA. I have been performing professional skincare and nail care treatments exclusively to the Tampa Bay area clientele since 2015

Skin Rejuvenation is Just a Scrub Away

Wouldn’t it be nice if Mother Nature allowed us to just shed our skin every season? Well the good news is we can! Our skin goes through natural seasonal changes, with dry skin being a common battle in winter and summer months. Drinking water is one way to keep our skin hydrated, but it is also important to exfoliate. This helps to nourish the skin and create cellular turnover, which rejuvenates the skin. With as little time as it takes to blow dry your hair, you can get your skin in perfect shape for any season with exfoliation!

The perfect product for exfoliating skin is body polish. Applying a polish to your body is like using a natural loofa. The exfoliating action comes from sugar or salt blended with natural oils.

LaVMintBlog.jpgLavender Mint Body Polish is the perfect blend of essential oils, natural oils and sea salt that gently exfoliate and heal dry skin. Espresso Body Scrub contains sugar, organic coffee grounds and shea butter, plus it’s packed with antioxidants that improve circulation and increase detoxification. Lime Splash Body Polish gently exfoliates with sugar and hydrates skin with mango butter and avocado oil all while pampering your senses with the zesty lime and orange essential oils.

You want to apply your exfoliating treatments on clean dry skin working it into congested areas, like the thighs and upper arms, using gentle, circular motions. Don’t forget drier areas, like elbows, knees and feet. Gently remove scrub with a clean damp cloth and pat dry. Any oils left behind will keep skin hydrated so no need to thoroughly rinse or remove product. Apply moisturizer after to seal in the natural oils and enhance hydration.

Opt instead for Hydrating Facial Polish or Detoxifying Charcoal Facial Polish with smooth jojoba beads and anti-aging ingredients to revive dull skin, improve elasticity and boost luminosity.
